Blog Entry 1/21/10
Hello, everyone. I hope your January is going well.
Last night, I had the opportunity to have a free conversation lesson with
just one student. Even though it would have been great to have a few more
people, it was a great chance to talk about our thoughts and opinions on a
somewhat deeper level. The student and I discussed his life, work, and
studies. When the content of his upcoming presentation proved too complex
for my totally non-mathematical brain, we switched to a discussion of the
various types of beautiful women in Japan. He asserted that a strong point
of his hometown of Fukuoka is the natural beauty of the women. I'll have to
make a point of visiting there.
We also had some fun singing old J-Pop songs (and discussing them in
English)!
